Q: What if my program provides educational programs to children? Can I list those programs at your website?

A: No, the mission of Literacy Gwinnett is focused on adults. An adult may be determined to benefit from adult literacy services if he/she does not have a high school diploma or GED; or if he/she understands, speaks, reads, or writes English at less than an eighth grade level. Adults are normally defined as 18 or older. 16 and 17 year-olds must be formally withdrawn from school to participate.
